President's Message
As we embark upon 2009, the reflections of a historic 2008 must be inspiring. I see the emergence of even greater commitment toward uplift in our community, and renewed emphasis on unified action. “Facing the rising sun” of opportunity and triumph realized this past year, exposes the vast capabilities that are within our grasp. “Of our new day begun” when our citizenry embraced a Black Man as commander and chief, the most powerful position of the free world, who delivering the message “yes we can” proved that competent confidence transcends race, bigotry, and prejudice. ...More
