The March of Dimes is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes funds programs of research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated has been a staunch support of the March of Dimes WalkAmerica program. This key fundraiser enable the March of Dime to continue provide help in improving the quality of life of infants and their families.

Zeta Beta Lambda Chapter has stepped up its efforts to help the local chapter of the March of Dimes by walking and seeking sponsors in the Annual Walk held by the Greater Capitol Division of the March of Dimes.
