COMMITTEES and ACTIVITIES (EVENT-GOAL)
  • Founder's Day Brunch - Provide fund raising event to celebrate anniversary of the chapter and award financial assistance to qualified graduating high school seniors. (Includes Brochure sub-committee)

  • Scholarship Program - Provide financial awards and public recognition to the most qualified deserving graduating high school seniors

  • Alpha Academy - Provide mentoring and educational 4-hour workshops one Saturday per month at the Boy's and Girl's Club. (Includes Project Alpha and the Young Male Conference)

  • ZBL Website - Provide and maintain information relating to the Sacramento Alumni Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. on-line.

  • Alpha Facility - Acquire building to conduct Alpha Academy, fund raisers, community service, and fraternity/foundation business.

  • Public Relations/Marketing - Develop material that will highlight our chapter and programs for the purpose of increasing our fund raising efforts

  • WalkAmerica - Provide fund raising activities and participate in the March of Dimes annual event.

  • Reclamation - Increase participation and support from non-financial/active Alpha Men in the Sacramento area.
